Life Skills for Southern Elementary Students

The PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Team at the elementary school is excited to have implemented a new program to promote life skills which includes interviewing skills, money skills, people skills, writing and inventory skills. An elementary student council member will team up with a life skills student, and they will mentor them on the various skills as they manage and maintain a snack cart for the elementary staff. This will create an environment which fosters many job skills and positive social skills between the students, as well as student and staff.
