Southern Schools

Hello! I am Ms. Debbie Bachmann-Clasen, and I will teach English-Language Arts at the middle and high school, and serve as the One-Act Play coach. This will be my second time teaching at Southern Schools, the first was from 2001-2006, and I am excited to be back! It feels like coming home! I have three adult children, Isaac (Jamie), Dani (Justin), Jordy, and three grandkids, Evelyn, Huxley, and Rosemary. I have happily built a life around them and teaching; this is my thirtieth year as an educator! I am endorsed in 7-12 Language Arts, Reading, and Secondary Literacy through UN-L. In my free time, I enjoy reading and watching movies. There have been a lot of changes and challenges in education, but the best part has remained the same; the students. I look forward to working with the students as they advance in the Language Arts.
