Southern Schools

Hello, my name is Dawn Rakes. I am a secretary at Southern Elementary. I grew up on a farm by Kramer, Ne, and attended Crete Public Schools where I graduated from in 2001. In 2003 I Graduated from the College of Hair Design in Lincoln and started working in Beatrice at Maxson’s Barber and Beauty Shop, where I worked for 10 years before starting at Southern Elementary in 2015. I currently live in Wymore and have 3 girls who attend Southern Schools. In my time away from school I like to help coach summer softball for my girls, play co-ed softball, and spend lots of time with my family!
