Hello, I am Valerie Barnhart. My husband Randy and I live west of Wymore. We have a few cats and a dog. I was born and raised in Wymore. I graduated from Southern. As a former student at Southern, I enjoy teaching and giving back to my community. I attended college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Go Huskers! I have a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane College in Crete, NE. I am passionate about English because the skills will enable my students to be better communicators in their lives after school. In English, we focus on reading, writing, grammar, speaking, and listening. All of these are life-long skills to improve throughout life. Other activities that I enjoy include swimming, gardening, and having fun with family and friends.
