Capital Field Trip

Fourth graders spent a day at the Capitol Building and Morrill Hall in Lincoln on April 22. The students learned about the law-making process, the history of the Capitol's construction, and the significance of the artwork inside. A highlight was sitting in on a Unicameral Session, where Senator Dorn recognized our students and took a photo with them. At Morrill Hall, they enjoyed a movie in the Planetarium about the deep sea and had the opportunity to explore fossils, animals, and landforms specific to Nebraska.
