Junior High Quiz Bowl 2023

Junior High Quiz Bowl has gotten off to a great start! This is my first year as a coach, and I am absolutely loving it! These kids have been an excellent representation of Southern and they have so much more knowledge of all sorts of facts than I could ever hope to know! It has been so much fun practicing with them and helping them to grow and learn; I can't wait to see what the rest of the season will bring! We've had 4 meets so far, and we have 3 meets remaining. At their second meet in Marysville, KS, the A team took 3rd in their bracket and the B team took 2nd in their bracket! Then, at the ESU5 Meet in Hebron, NE, the B team placed 5th out of 14. Our next meet will be in Marysville on March 2nd for the Kansas Scholar Bowl Season Tournament. Students then will compete in the Pioneer Conference Quiz Bowl Meet in Sterling on March 20th and the Mudecas Quiz Bowl Meet at Parkview Christian in Lincoln on April 11th.
