3 year old preschool class visits the Pinecrest Tree Farm

Mrs. Manley's preschool class enjoyed a field trip to the Pinecrest Tree Farm. The students learned the history of tree farms and the types of trees that are found at Pinecrest. They watched how wreaths and swags are made and then got to make a swag of their own to take home. One of the highlights was watching the train make its way around the track inside the shop! Outside, the students got to shake and bundle a tree to get it ready to go to someone's house, and then they walked through the trees and found tall and short trees.
