Bison Trunk

A park ranger from Homestead National Historic Park came to visit the 4th grade. The ranger brought along his "Bison Trunk" to share with the students. The 4th graders have been studying the Native American tribes of Nebraska. Our guest displayed the many different uses of the bison to Native Americans. This was a very educational and hands-on experience that supported our social studies curriculum and Native American Heritage Month.
