Second Step is a set of activities students work through to process the issues and topics they encounter in school and life. Southern Middle School students began the activities in September and just completed the last of the discussions in May. Through out the year, topics included: setting goals, communication skills, social interactions skills, dealing with difficult people, bullying issues, making good choices, and navigating the middle school years.
