Few things that the 3rd graders have been working on.

It’s hard to believe that the school year is half over. Time flies when learning new concepts. Here are a few things that the 3rd graders have been working on resently.
In Math, we have been constructing graphs of many kinds and working on keeping our addition, subtraction and multiplication facts sharp. We continue to learn about verb tenses, using quotation marks and abbreviations in our writing. We just finished learning all our lower case cursive letters and will start on capitals when we return in January. In Science, the students have spent time with magnets, push and pull forces and gravity. With Social Studies, students are learning about the seven continents, oceans and the fifty states. We continue to Read as much as possible and expand our vocabulary.
We are looking forward to 2021 and are hoping everyone stays happy and healthy.
