Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Elementary School Library hosted a buy-one-get-one-free book fair this May. It was a good opportunity for students to stock up on fun books to read over the summer.
The book fair was held in conjunction with the Fun and Field Day, May 3, and kindergarten awards ceremony, May 10, so parents had an opportunity to help their students choose books and other items that would whet their appetite for reading over the summer.
Research has proven that students who read during the summer are better prepared for school in the fall.
