Southern Public Schools

Notice of special education services for children who attend nonpublic schools

and/or for children who attend home schools.

On March 29, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., a meeting conducted by Southern Public Schools will take place at Southern Jr./Sr. High School Board Room located at 115 South 11^th Street, Wymore, NE.  The purpose of the meeting will be to provide an opportunity for parents who have parentally placed their child in an approved and/or accredited nonpublic school or exempt home school and representatives of nonpublic schools to participate in the development of a plan for providing special education services to children with disabilities who attend an approved and/or accredited nonpublic schools and exempt home schools which are within the Southern Public Schools district for the 2019-2020 school year.  Parents of a home-schooled child or a child attending a nonpublic school who has been or may be identified with a disability and attend an approved and/or accredited nonpublic school within the boundaries of Southern Public Schools, are urged to attend.  If you have further questions pertaining to this meeting, please contact Dr. Christopher Prososki at 402-645-3326.
