Launch the media gallery 1 playerJack Neitzke placed first at 189 and led the Southen wrestlers to a 7th place at the Southeast Nebraska Conference Wrestling Tournament on Friday, February 2nd.
The tournament was held at Wymore. The eleven teams competing in the tournament included Tri-County, David City, Centennial, Sutton, Wilber-Clatonia, Fillmore Central, Southern, Milford, South Central, Thayer Central and Heartland. Tri-County took first place over David City by winning an exciting final match with a pin.
Wrestlers placing for Southern include:
Josh Dorn at 119 -- 4th place
Mike Steelman at 125 -- 3rd place
Mitch Roberts at 140 -- 4th place
Nick Lovell at 152 -- 4th place
Jack Neitzke at 189 -- 1st place
