Southern dropped a close dual to rival Tri-County on Thursday 45-36.  Tri-County, in the past has usually dominated us.  This year we really made them sweat, with the outcome not determined until the final match.  I knew we matched up with them fairly well, we just couldn't pull it off.  We gave up four forfeits and that really hurt our chances of winning but the kids really showed a lot of heart and wrestled very well.

Thayer Central Invite

The kids wrestled well at this tournament. We are continuing to improve each week which is what we are working toward. As team they brought home 6 Medals and place fourth. Mitch Roberts won his first championship of the year. Next Competition is at the Freeman Invite on Thursday at 5:00 pm and at the Fairbury Invite on Friday at 5:00 pm.
