Civics Class with Mrs. Winter

This quarter in Civics class we have spent a good amount of time on citizenship and what it means to be a good citizen. Students decided that would include picking up trash when they see it, encouraging others to do the right thing, and obeying laws, just to name a few. Most students feel we, as citizens, should take our citizenship seriously since many countries don’t have the freedoms that we do. We also covered the Bill of Rights and the freedoms citizens have because of these and how lucky we are to live in the United States.
