S Club doing their part to Improve School Culture

The S Club wanted to do their part in improving the school culture by increasing school spirit by adding some signage to the gym, locker room, and common's doors. The group started this project last year. They named the gym "The Brick" and created a student section naming it "The Brick Yard". The student section is the second section of bleachers on the west side as you enter the gym. They added signage to also show where the Southern Raider Pep band will play. As you can see by the pictures, all together they added four signs showing where parents, students, fans, and the band will sit. They got stickers that go on the commons front door windows, and two locker rooms banners. And finally, they got Southern Raider banners that go below the senior banners below the weight deck. S-Club also purchased a banner that was displayed in center field for the softball team in Blue Springs.
All the money used to purchase these items was raised by past and present S-Club members. They did a great job putting this together by helping the Southern Raider athletes have a special place to play their games.
