A great way to end the week at Southern High School! The Student Council hosted it's 1st Annual Dodgeball Tournament this afternoon. Congratulations to the "Ninja Turtles" on going undefeated in the double elimination tournament! They defeated 6 other teams of 7th -12th grade students. Congratulations to Paxx Adams, a junior on the Southern basketball team, for being recognized as this week’s Student of the Week! ❤️🖤

Paxx has an incredible ability to recognize when others may need support and is always looking out for his peers to make sure they are doing okay. That level of awareness and care for others is a remarkable trait to see in a high school student.

On the court, Paxx is a strong leader who leads the team in multiple statistical categories. He also plays an important role in helping younger teammates grow by showing patience, encouraging them, and proving that hard work and dedication truly lead to success.
