🏆 Student of the Week – Paxx Adams 🏆

Congratulations to Paxx Adams, a junior on the Southern basketball team, for being recognized as this week’s Student of the Week! ❤️🖤

Paxx has an incredible ability to recognize when others may need support and is always looking out for his peers to make sure they are doing okay. That level of awareness and care for others is a remarkable trait to see in a high school student.

On the court, Paxx is a strong leader who leads the team in multiple statistical categories. He also plays an important role in helping younger teammates grow by showing patience, encouraging them, and proving that hard work and dedication truly lead to success.

We are proud of the way Paxx represents Southern both as a student and as an athlete.

👏 Congratulations, Paxx!

Thank you to Watchtower Wealth Management and Ol’ Red 99.5 for supporting Student of the Week recognition.

📣 Important Communication Update 📣
Our new school alert system currently allows only two contacts per student to receive phone calls and text alerts. Students will not receive phone call or text message alerts through this system. We understand this may be limiting for some families and want you to know that we are actively working on a solution.

👉 In the meantime, we strongly encourage families to download the Southern School District 1, NE app and share important information with family members who may also need to receive updates. The app provides push notifications for announcements, alerts, and important school updates—helping everyone stay informed even if they are not listed as one of the two contacts.

If you have questions or need assistance, please contact:
