Two third-grade students sit on the classroom floor beside a student-built moving sculpture. The sculpture consists of a wooden base with a vertical wooden dowel and attached strings, rods, and hooks. A worksheet with instructions or notes rests on the floor nearby. The students are smiling and looking toward the camera. Classroom tables, storage cabinets, colorful bins, and a carpeted floor are visible in the background.

Our 3rd graders put their STEM skills to work by designing and building their own moving sculptures! They explored how simple machines, motion, and creativity can come together to make something move. We are so proud of their problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity! đź’ˇ
