Southern Elementary recently received a new book vending machine. The local Kiwanis Club generously donated the vending machine and books to the elementary. Students can earn tokens as rewards to “purchase” a new book. The first recipients of a new book were members of the student council and students recognized as students of the month for the month of February. Thank you to the Kiwanis Club for supporting literacy at Southern Elementary.
