Mrs. Arnold’s and Mrs. Burgess’ fourth-grade classes enjoyed a presentation this quarter about Nebraska soybeans from representatives of the Nebraska Soybean Board. During the presentation, students learned about the importance of soybeans in Nebraska agriculture, how soybeans are grown, and how they are used to create healthy, high-protein foods. They also discovered that soybeans are used to make many everyday non-food products that people use regularly.
