Every year on March 21st, people around the world come together to raise awareness, celebrate inclusion, and support individuals with Down Syndrome. This special day highlights the abilities, achievements, and contributions of people with Down Syndrome while encouraging communities to promote understanding and acceptance.

On World Down Syndrome Day, students and staff are encouraged to learn more about Down Syndrome, celebrate diversity, and support classmates of all abilities. At Southern, we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by learning, sharing kindness, and supporting one another, and we help build a school community where everyone feels valued and respected!
