Southern School District 1 Completes Superintendent Search Process
Southern School District 1’s Board of Education has selected Mr. Mark Jolliffe to become their superintendent of schools for the 2026-2027 school year. Mr. Jolliffe has accepted the position and will begin on/about July 1st.
The board of education will vote to accept Mr. Jolliffe’s contract as the next Superintendent of Southern School District 1 on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
Mr. Jolliffe has served as Superintendent of the Perkins County School District for the past three years. Before coming to Perkins County, Mr. Jolliffe served as High School Principal and Middle School Principal for Wichita Public Schools in Kansas from 2009-2023.
