This past week, our 7th, 8th, and 9th-grade students learned the basics of CPR and how to use an AED properly. Through hands-on practice and real-world scenarios, students gained confidence in responding during emergencies and learned how quick action can truly save lives.

We’re proud of our Raiders for building knowledge, responsibility, and skills that matter—both in and out of the classroom.

New Website & Alert System Launching Dec. 5!

Southern Public Schools is excited to announce that we are launching our new district website through Apptegy beginning December 5. With this launch, Apptegy will also become our official district-wide alert system.
We have already begun using the new system—alerts were sent out on Sunday for a 2-hour late start and again on Monday for the no school announcement.
As we transition, IRIS will no longer be used for district alerts.
If you did not receive the recent text or phone call, please reach out to Audrey Whitwer at awhitwer@southernschools.org to ensure your contact information is updated.

Thank you for helping us make this transition smooth for Raider Nation!
