The cheer team wrapped up their final competition of the season at State Cheer and Dance in Grand Island. If you have had the chance to see this group of girls compete, you’ve witnessed determination in action. Each competition, these girls showed up with 3-4 athletes competing against teams in class C2 of 10-20 girls. While the numbers may not have been in our favor, their confidence, heart, and commitment never stumbled. We showed up and gave it all we had, and while that didn't always send us home with a trophy or a gold medal, the pride we took home was unbeatable. I am unbelievably proud of the athleticism and grit that it takes to do what these girls do. The next time you see them on the sidelines, get on your feet, join in their chants, and SHOW YOUR SOUTHERN PRIDE!! GO RAIDERS!!!!
