V Track- Monday at Falls City Invite at 2:30pm. Dismiss members to eat at 11:55am, leave at 12:15pm.
V MUDECAS Track- Saturday at Johnson County Central at 9:00am. Leave at 7:00am. Good luck!!!
Southern High Athletic Banquet - This semi-formal affair honoring all Southern High athletes is Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 6:30pm in the gymnasium. EVERYONE (including athletes/coaches) attending will need a ticket. The cost per person is $10.00 each for a meal. Reservations need to be confirmed and paid for at the high school office by 4:00pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. You may pay cash or check at the high school office or Venmo Jonna-adams-1 (put Athletic banquet in the memo and how many tickets you need). Advance reservations are required to confirm the number of meals to be ordered. You will need to let the office know if you want a pulled beef sandwich or a pulled chicken sandwich.
District Music Contest at Fairbury-Thursday, April 18 & Friday, April 19- Friday--Band & select choir members leave at 8:00am. Rest of choir members will be dismissed to eat lunch at 11:20am, load bus at 11:50am, leave at 12:00pm. Good luck!!!
First Friday Field Trip- If you are interested in visiting the Haymarket art galleries and meeting local Lincoln artists, Miss Hulse will be taking students to Lincoln for "First Friday" after school on Friday May 3. Please see Miss Hulse if you are interested before Friday April 19.
7th and 8th Graders: Reminder to get your $10 class dues paid and your permission slips turned in as soon as possible to qualify for the end of the year incentive trip with Mrs. Thernes and Mrs. Baumgartner. Dues and Permission slips can be turned in to either Mrs. Baumgartner or Mrs. Thernes.
FBLA members: If you wish to run for an officer position for the 24-25 school year, please pick up an application form from Mrs. Schluter. Applications are due by Friday, April 19th.
Seniors- please stop in the office this week 4/16-4/19 to vote for Graduation Ushers & Junior Marshals.
Senior Scholarship Interviews-THURSDAY, April 25th in the board room- Bring yourself, and dress appropriately. Please arrive to the board room approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled time. The office will NOT be calling you out of the classrooms. Good luck to all seniors participating. Schedules are located on the 2nd floor bulletin board and by the 2nd floor water fountain.

7th grade dental screenings- 7th Graders: Public Health Solutions will be here next Tuesday, April 23 to do dental screens since they were not able to do them on the original date. If you did not return a form and would like one please pick one up in the office.
