Sixth-grade class tying Ribbons on cars in the Elementary and High School
Every year, the elementary students participate in Red Ribbon Week activities. Red Ribbon Week is a tobacco, alcohol, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed each year during the month of October in the United States. It began as a tribute to fallen DEA special agent Enrique Camerena in 1985. One of the activities included the sixth-grade class tying ribbons on cars in the elementary and high school parking lots, as well as the cars in downtown Wymore.
