Southern Elementary Fun & Field Day 2021

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Our annual Southern Elementary "Fun and Field Day" will be held Friday, May 7, 2021. This is a day in which students participate in running and field events. This event will be held at the ARBOR STATE PARK. We welcome parents, grandparents, and friends to attend this event.
In case of inclement weather, an announcement will be made over KWBE radio and will be posted on the Southern Schools web site.
1. School lunch will be a sack lunch, but your child may bring their own lunch from home if they choose.
2. Events will begin at 9:00 a.m.
3. You might want your child to bring a jacket, pants and a hat for protection against the sun.
4. Buses will run regular routes that day.
5. Students are to stay with their class at all times.
We welcome any parents who can come to watch and support our students.
FUN & FIELD DAY
COVID PROTOCOLS
Students will be bussed from the elementary school and they will be required to wear mask to and from the elementary.
Family members must sit together (social distancing of 6 feet between family groups) in the grandstand or on lawn chairs around the outside of the wire of the track area. PARENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE WIRE AREA UNLESS THEY ARE A STAFF MEMBER OF SOUTHERN PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
At the conclusion of each session, if parents wish to sign their student out, they may contact the teacher prior to the students loading to head back to the elementary school. All students must be signed out or they will be required to ride the bus back to elementary.
