3rd Grade Happenings

We have been working hard on our multiplication and division facts. Please continue to have your child work on these during second semester. Natural resources are being studied in Social Studies along with the vocabulary words renewable and nonrenewable. To further our study of this concept we will be making Christmas decorations from paper pulp which is recycled paper. Jane Esau from the UNL Extension office in Beatrice will assist us with this activity. In Science we have been working on animal traits, behaviors, mimicry, and camouflage. We studied which animals were suited for which biomes such as tundra, grasslands, deserts, and rain forests.
