The Individuals, Youth, and Families Task Force provides a way for agencies that deal with families in poverty and homelessness to meet and share information on the services and resources each agency has available. This Task Force allows for these agencies to avoid overlapping services, and provides a way for them to share new and changing programs that could effect their clients.
Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 10:30 am to
11:30 am at the One Stop Community Resource Center, SCC-Beatrice
Adams Hall, Conference Room A213. The Interagency Council is a
monthly lunch‐and‐learn meeting for representatives of any social
service agency that
s e r v e s G a g e County individuals and/or families. These
meetings are designed for agencies to share programs & services
available, introduce new staff to their community colleagues, and
provide a brief training or presentation on a topic that impacts
the entire audience. Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each
month at 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the One Stop Community Resource
Center, SCC-Beatrice Adams Hall, Conference Room A213.

JANUARY COMMUNITY JUSTICE MEETING:
MADD’S COURT MONITORING PROGRAM
The Gage County MAPS Coalition would like to invite all teens,
parents, school personnel (teachers, staff, administrators) and ANY
community members to attend the monthly MAPS Coalition Community
Justice Task Force meetings!
The MAPS Coalition Community Justice Task Force meetings are held
on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 4:00 to 5:15 pm at the
Beatrice Public Library. Please join us for community updates and a
brief presentation on a topic that YOU need to know – come for
great information and discussion on issues that impact us ALL!
In January, our meeting will be held on Thursday, January 15 at
4:00 pm at the Beatrice Public Library, 100 N 16th Street in
Beatrice. In addition to community and coalition updates, we are
pleased to have a presenter from Mothers Against Drunk Driving
(MADD) joining us to give a
presentation on their Court Monitoring program for impaired driving
court cases in Gage County.
What is Court Monitoring?
The MADD Nebraska Court Monitoring Program is part of a state‐wide
effort to hold the criminal courts system accountable for the
adjudication of DUI cases. MADD Nebraska’s court monitoring program
is present in Gage County and only 7 other counties across the
state. Everyone is encouraged to attend and hear this important
information on drinking & driving in our
communities.
