Dominique Clay
Spanish Teacher

Dominique Clay has taught at ESU #5 and Southern High School. She started teaching because she loves interacting with students and wants to be a positive influence in students’ lives. She is from Adams, Nebraska and attended Freeman Public Schools (K-10).  She then moved to Cortland, Nebraska and attended Norris High School (11-12). She has two small children so she really has no time for hobbies, but she does love DIY projects. :) Mrs. Clay has been teaching for about 6-7 years, but has only been teaching at Southern for 5 years. This summer Mrs. Clay taught summer school with, was at home with her children, and attended many weddings and birthday celebrations. Her favorite foods are chicken alfredo and salmon. Mrs. Clay intends to work on her weakness of having an active learning environment with a lot of communication, while also creating a quiet and calm classroom for students who need it.
