Launch the media gallery 1 playerThis past week in seventh grade English, classes read “The Run Series” from Readworks. The series included seven different readings and there was a cliffhanger after each reading. The series followed two college kids, Mac and Dennis. Throughout the series, these two tried to outrun a zombie plague and help whoever they could along the way. Kids were excited to find out what would happen next and would beg to read the next reading. Most students were disappointed with the ending but were given the opportunity to rewrite the ending.
