UNK Honor Choir Activities

Four Southern Concert Choir students participated in the UNK Honor Choir on Jan.23rd. Junior Hannah Verzani-Whitecotton, soprano, seniors Dylan Warford, tenor, and senior Shelby-Powell, soprano, sang as members of the Festival Chorus. Senior Lucas Petersen, bass, was selected for the Honor Choir.
Students left early on Sunday avoiding most of the snow and spent Sunday evening in fun activites at the Big Apple, the hotel swimming pool and dinner at Whiskey Creek.
Very early Monday morning the students then began a day of rehearsal culminating in a wonderful concert at the UNK field house. 107 different schools had students involved in the program with a total of 735 students selected for the three choirs and two bands.
