Class Expectations:
-Part of your grade will be based on participation and behavior. You will receive points per day for appropriate participation and behavior. Make Good Choices!!!!
-Additional grades will come from tests, quizzes, projects, and daily work.
-I will take late work up to only 1 day after it is due. After that, your grade will go to a zero. You will receive 1 free homework pass per quarter for you to use on one daily work assignment. This may not be used for projects, tests, papers, or quizzes.
As seniors, you know what is expected of you in the process. Just do your work!
- Treat others with respect in this classroom!!!
- No sleeping in class or during videos.
- No tardies are allowed! You must be here on time or make up the time after school. You will receive a 15 minute detention each time you are late. Please don’t make a habit of this!!!
- Be prepared for class. Bring all needed materials with you each day.
- Bring a positive attitude.
- Absolutely no profanity will be allowed in my classroom. There is a time and a place for everything and please remember this is a classroom not a locker room. Failure to abide by this rule will result in a detention or a visit to Mr. Murphy.
- The school dress code is in effect at all times in this class. If you have questions, please refer to your handbook.
- A semester test will be given at the end of the semester. This will be worth 10%-15% of your final grade.
- Extra Credit will be offered from time to time.
- Anytime you leave the classroom, you must have a pass.
- If you are absent, it is your responsibility to check with me to see what you have missed. I will not chase you down.
-Books must be covered at all times!!!!!
- Finally, if you or your parents need to get ahold of me you may do so here at school from 8:00 am-8:15 am, during my planning period, or from 3:45 pm-4:00 pm. I can also be reached in the evenings at home at 228-1627. Have a Great Year!!!
