Students in Spanish 2 will continue their study of the Spanish language and the culture and customs of the people in the Spanish speaking countries.  The students in Spanish 2 will need to increase their proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the Spanish culture and language.  Students will be expected to actively participate in all class activities as well as individual work outside of class.  Each student will increase personal proficiency through an active use of the language.  In Spanish 2 each student will be expected to actively use their proficiency in the target language by listening, speaking, reading, and writing in class activities.  The instructor will speak almost entirely in Spanish so students will become accustomed to hearing the target language and work toward gaining understanding.  Spanish 2 will begin with a review of the material covered in Spanish 1.  In Spanish 2 the students will learn several verb tenses of –ar, -er, and-ir.  This will be incorporated in authentic group activities.  ¡Bienvenidos!
