Education Quest, www.educationquest.org, is a free web site service to students. It can be used for college planning information for parents using their guided tours. They have a college selection section with steps to help students find the best school for them. There is a tax benefits section with information about credits and deduction that can help parents recover some college costs. Other helpful resources on their web site include: ScholarshipQuest with over 1,300 local and statewide scholarships, college funding estimator to help families estimate FAFSA results, college profiles with information about Nebraska and Midwestern schools, calculators to help with college planning and student loan repayment, and Spanish sections at www.educationquest.org/espanol.
