The following students need to turn in the signature page from the handbook: Steven Chatfield, Ronnie Rainey, Donnivan Gater, Jana Rainey & Whitney Wooton.
The following cheerleaders - need to turn in your signature page from the cheer handbook: Jill, Brooke, Cynthia and Shelby C. Without this signed form you will not be able to cheer Friday. If you need another handbook, see Cathy in the office.
Cheerleaders - the van will leave for the game Friday at 5:30PM Sharp. Don't be late!

Pep Rally Friday - at 3:20. Cheerleaders and Band members dismiss at 3:10 and the rest of the students dismisses at 3:15.
VB at the Freeman Invite at 4pm Today - Southern's first game is at 6pm against Diller/Odell. At 8pm Southern vs Elmwood-Murdock. VB team needs to be dismissed at 3:30pm & will be leaving at 3:45pm. GOOD LUCK!!!

During IAP on Tuesday, Sept 7, all students taking Peru State on line college classes need to report to the computer lab to meet with the coordinator from Peru State. This meeting may run over into 7th hour.
On Sept 25 the American Foundation for Suicide prevention - will host its third annual 2.5 mile out of the darkness community walk in Beatrice. A major goal of this event is to show support for the families and friends of the over 32,000 Americans who die by suicide and the 20 million people who suffer from depression each year. You may register individually or as a team on this website www.outofthedarkness.org. Please register before Sept 25th.

High School Seniors who are interested in the Arts program, can apply for the Young Arts 2010 program. YoungArts is the signature national organization that recognizes and supports Americans most talented 17-18 year olds in the visual, literary and performing arts. UNK is encouraging seniors to apply online. www.unk.edu and hit the apply now button. You will need a credit or debit card for the application fees. You only pay once in the university system even if you apply for all three campuses. You can also look at the scholarships offered by UNK by going to www.unk.edu/offices/financial_aid
UNK wants to remind seniors - that they have an Athletic Training degree. It is a Bachelors of Science degree and is intended to train individuals to manage the overall health care of the Inerscholastic, Intercollegiate, Professional as well as the recreational athlete.
