Don't you want to be in yearbook class next year???? These students who have signed up for yearbook class next year must make an appointment with Carol Braun to complete an application process. This process must be done by March 12. Devan Baehr, Shelby Baker, Kaylee Diekman, Jill Mallam, Brooke Milligan, Jordan Murphy, Jacob Oblinger, Amber Owens-Everhart, Kyle Yockel.
Soph Server practise today during IAP. All costumes need to be here by Monday for dress rehearsal next week.

Student Council Members - pick up your pre-makeup slip in the office for Tuesday's Student Council Convention.
NHS Applications are due March 15th.
Prom Info for - Colby Argo, Elisa Rempe, Daniel Barr, Shelby Baker, and Tyler Husa: Each one of you have a small speech to give at the prom dinner. These need to be written and given to Mrs. Hayden by the end of next week. (March 19) Colby - Senior response; Prayer - Daniel Barr; Sophomore Server Intro - Shelby; Closing remarks - Tyler If you have any questions, see Mrs. Hayden.
Seniors as extras in the play... You need to attend practices right after school on Tuesday, March 16 and Wednesday, March 17 to learn dancing and practice music. Also, Saturdays, March 20 and April 10.
All student council members attending the conference - on March 16th need to pay Mrs. Winter $10 this week. Please get her the money before Friday.
FBLA officer applications are due today.
ATTENTION SOUTHERN STUDENTS: ANYONE WANT TO GO TO THE JUSTO CONCERT? Well here is your opportunity; there are 50 tickets for any Southern student in grades 7-12 for only $15. The tickets will go to the first 50 students that buy them, so get your money in as soon as possible to Cathy in the office. When you purchase your ticket make sure you sign up to receive your souvenir arm band the day of the concert. Remember you must have an armband to enter the concert. If you purchase a ticket, you must attend the concert. Skipping the concert is the same as skipping a field trip, there will be consequences. Gracias Justo hopes to see you there!
March 12th is the last day - to purchase a yearbook with your name on it. After that date, name-stamping will not be available.
Freshman Volleyball T-Shirt Orders are due March 12. $8 for sizes S-XL and $9 for XXL and larger. Choice of green or blue. See the design in the office. Pay at the time of ordering in the office.
Freshman Volleyball Tournament is March 18. $5.00 per person and 6-8 people per team. Talk to Kenya Naumann, Kaitlyn Shepardson, Shaylee Crawford, Erica Dorn Jacob Creevan or Taylor Zvolanek. You must pay at the time you sign up. Theme this year is: "Movies"
SCC has announced - their preliminary fall course schedule for optic fiber and on line college classes. All paperwork needs to be submitted through Mrs. Goes by April 15. You may look at these classes in Room 104 or 10
Any Junior who is planning to "maybe" attend UNL .. admissions office has changed their policy. They will only accept ACT scores directly from the ACT company. You must put UNL as one of your five colleges to send scores when you register for the ACT. If you don't do this, you will be paying extra money to have ACT scores sent to UNL. They will no longer accept scores on your transcript.
Junior Day at Cloud County is April 15th from 9a.m. to 1p.m.
Seniors who have participated - in any of the activities sponsored by the Gage County AG Society may apply for their scholarship, if you also hold at least a 2.0 GPA. Deadline to apply is March 15.
Seniors - Beatrice BPO Does #10 is offering their Bernice Shackelford scholarship for $500 to 3 area students. You must be in the top 50% of your class to apply.
Seniors planning to attend Cloud County - should enroll and take the Compass test during the month of April.
Juniors who would like to apply to the United State Service Academy - need to have all parts of the application completed by October 31, 2010 if you want to be accepted for July 2011 entry.
FBLA is sponsoring a scholarship for seniors - who have volunteered for two years with the Red Cross. This requires an essay and the deadline is May 1. Pick up the applications in Mrs. Goes office.
