Colby Argo Sworn in as Student Member of the Board of Education

At its regular June meeting Southern junior Colby Argo received the oath of office from Board President Margaret Michaelis as the 2008-2009 Student Board of Education member. The Board's student member is elected by high school student body and serves as a non voting member of the board. The student member must be either a junior or a senior and is automatically by virtue of their office a member of the Southern Senior High School Student Council. Colby Argo is the fifth student to serve as a student representative to the Board of Education. Colby is the son of Doug and Janet Argo.
