Golden Sower Award Announced

The 2008 Golden Sower Award winning books have been announced! Students from all over Nebraska voted on these awards.
The Primary category winner is The Great Fuzz Frenzy! The runner up books are Mrs. McBloom, Clean Up Your Classroom and Tooth Fairy’s First Night. Our school had 93 Kindergarten through 2nd grade students voting in this category.
In the Intermediate category the Golden Sower winner is The World According to Humphrey! The runners up are The Stupendous Dodgeball Fiasco and The SOS File. From our school 34 4th, 5th and 6th grade students voted in this category.
Next year we will have the 2009 Golden Sower Award nominee books in the library. We encourage all of our students to read at least 4 of them to qualify to vote on the winners.
