Property Tax Request Hearing
October 8, 2007
7:30 p.m.
The hearing was called to order by Board Vice President Margaret Michaelis at 7:30 p.m. with the following members present: Doug Argo, Dave Creevan, Gretchen Lauby, Margaret Michaelis, Terry Milligan, Kelli Murphy
Reasonable advance publicized notice of the hearing was given according to law by Publishing, a designated method for giving notice of the school district a copy of the "Proof of Publication" being attached to these minutes. Reasonable advance notice was simultaneously given to Board members and a copy of their acknowledgement of receipt of notice and the agenda attached. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public.
Discussion was held regarding the 2007/08 property tax request and tax rate.
Moved by Argo, seconded by Murphy to adjourn the hearing at 7:30 p.m.
Carried 6-0
The next regular meeting of the Southern Board of Education will be November 12, 2007 at 7:30 p.m.
