Drawingswill be done throughout the year.  They will be assigned every two weeks, being due Friday of the second week. The subject matter will vary from choices, landscapes, portraits, to still life.  A minimum of 2 hrs of work is required for each drawing.

Behavior is a very important component of the art room.   This class is not considered a traditional classroom; it is a room where students must move about getting supplies while working on projects.    You must be willing to use self-discipline in the area of behavior and work ethics.

Because you have chosen to take a fourth year of art, I expect, and will accept nothing less than dedication and hard work.

Absences :   The school allows 10 missed days during the semester.   If you go over that amount you will need to get signed permission from the teacher if you wish to receive credit

Make-up work:   You have two days to make up work for any absence.   If you know you are going to be gone for any reason you need to have the work made up before you leave.   If you miss in class work on sketches or project work, it is your responsibility to come in after school to get assignments or put in extra work time.   Extra time will be given at the discretion of the Teacher.

Gradeswill be given in the following percentages:

25% Drawings

65% Projects

10% Behavior

The semester test will count 10% of the semester grade

NO LATE DRAWINGS OR PROJECTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE ASSIGNED DUE DATE!!!!!
