Making English educational and fun

Mrs. Cordry's ninth and twelfth grade classes spent two weeks learning about and creating their own poetry. They wrote a total of 17 poems each, including acrostics, concrete, and even sonnets. After writing the poems, the students created books to bind their poetry. Then, a day was set aside for a "coffee house" atmosphere reading of their hard work. The student sat on the floor and played instruments in rhythm

Never boring
Glue sticks to decorate
Long lasting memories hopefully
unendIng homework

Hearing the bell end the class makes us sad
