Southern Raiders Senior High Band
The Southern
high school band had 54 members in the 2005-2006 school year.
Members are in grades 9 thru 12. Membership
numbers remain the same for 2006-2007. Class meets every day
for full credit. The class is 55 minutes long and is the
first class period of the day. The band has a variety of
performance venues: concert band, pep band, marching band,
and small groups and solos during district music contest
preparation 2nd semester. Students do have the opportunity to
audition for honor bands and participate in special events such
as
attending out- of- town performances.
