Child Development

Course Syllabus

School Year ‘05-’06

Reasons for this course: This course is designed to promote a greater understanding of the importance of childhood in one’s developmental lifespan. By understanding a child’s physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and moral development, one can apply appropriate parenting strategies to help the child maintain a sense of self-worth and develop to his/her full potential. This understanding will not only be helpful in parenting and working with children, but may assist in making a career choice related to this area.
